1. Who We Are

HYPEGuide ("we", "us", "our") is an independent mobile application available on the Apple App Store. The app is operated by [OPERATOR ENTITY — e.g., HYPEGuide Ltd, registered in [BVI / Singapore]] ("Company").

HYPEGuide is an independent third-party application. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to Hyperliquid Labs, Hyper Foundation, or any entity operating the Hyperliquid protocol. "Hyperliquid" is referenced solely as a description of the decentralised exchange protocol whose public interfaces our app connects to.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

This policy does not govern the Hyperliquid protocol itself, other decentralised applications, or third-party services linked from within the App. Each such service has its own privacy practices for which we are not responsible.

3. Data We Collect

We believe in collecting the minimum data necessary to operate the App. The table below details every category of data we collect, why, and how.

3.1 Data You Provide Directly

Category Examples Why We Collect It
Support Communications Email address, message content To respond to support enquiries
Wallet Addresses EVM/HyperEVM public wallet address(es) you import or generate To display your portfolio, positions, and trading history
App Preferences Currency settings, notification preferences, paper-trading configurations To personalise your experience; stored locally on device

3.2 Data Collected Automatically

Category Examples Why We Collect It
Device Information iOS version, device model, screen resolution, language/locale, timezone Crash diagnostics and App Store performance analytics
Usage Analytics Screens viewed, feature interactions, session length, feature adoption events To understand how features are used and improve the App
Crash and Diagnostic Reports Stack traces, crash logs, memory state at time of crash To identify and fix bugs; may be collected by Apple or our crash-reporting provider
Network Request Metadata Timestamps of API requests to Hyperliquid's public API endpoints Rate-limit management and App performance monitoring; no personal content is logged
IP Address Your internet protocol address at the time of App use Security, fraud prevention, geographic restriction enforcement; not stored beyond session logs

3.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

We do not use your data for:

5. Third-Party Sharing

We share data with third parties only as described below. We do not sell personal data.

5.1 Service Providers

We may share limited technical data (device metadata, crash logs, anonymised analytics) with service providers who assist in operating the App, including:

All service providers are contractually bound to use data only for the purposes for which it was shared.

5.2 The Hyperliquid Protocol

When you submit trades, the App broadcasts signed transactions to the Hyperliquid decentralised exchange protocol. This is not "sharing" in the traditional sense — it is a necessary technical interaction with a public blockchain protocol. Your wallet address and transaction details become part of the public blockchain record. The Hyperliquid protocol is not our service provider; it is a decentralised protocol outside our control.

5.3 Market Data Providers

The App retrieves market data (prices, order books, funding rates, open interest) from Hyperliquid's public APIs and, where applicable, third-party market data providers. These requests do not carry personal identifiers beyond your IP address.

5.4 Legal and Regulatory Disclosure

We may disclose data to law enforcement, regulators, or courts where we are legally compelled to do so by applicable law, court order, or valid legal process. We will, where legally permissible, notify you of such disclosure.

5.5 Business Transfers

If the Company is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of control, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy commitments. You will be notified of any material change.

5.6 No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own commercial use.

6. Blockchain Data and Public Ledgers

Important: All transactions submitted to the Hyperliquid protocol are recorded on a public, immutable blockchain ledger. Once a transaction is submitted, it cannot be deleted, modified, or removed — by us or by anyone else. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology and is outside our control.

Specifically:

If on-chain privacy is important to you, consider the implications of linking your identity to your wallet address before using the App for live trading.

7. Wallet and Private Key Storage

Self-custodial by design: Your private keys are generated and stored exclusively within the iOS Keychain on your device. HYPEGuide has no access to your private keys, seed phrases, or recovery words at any time.

Technical details of how we handle wallet security:

8. Analytics and Tracking

The HYPEGuide App is a native iOS application and does not use browser cookies. The following tracking and analytics practices apply:

8.1 App Analytics

We may use in-app analytics SDKs to collect anonymised usage events (screens viewed, button taps, session duration). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You may opt out of analytics data collection in the App's Settings menu under Privacy > Analytics.

8.2 Apple Platform Analytics

If you have opted into "Share iPhone Analytics" in your iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregate App Store and device performance data with us. This is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not control this data collection.

8.3 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

We comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If we use any advertising or cross-app tracking, we will request your explicit permission through the iOS ATT prompt before doing so. We do not currently use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.

8.4 Website Analytics (hypeguide.app)

The HYPEGuide website may use privacy-preserving web analytics (e.g. Plausible Analytics or equivalent cookieless analytics) to track aggregate page views. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising trackers on our website. If cookies are used, you will be informed via a cookie notice.

9. Data Retention

Data Type Retention Period
Support emails and correspondence 3 years from last interaction, then deleted
Crash logs and diagnostic reports 90 days rolling window
Anonymised analytics events 24 months; no personal identifiers retained
IP address logs (security/geo-restriction) 30 days rolling, then deleted
App preferences (stored locally) Retained on device until you delete the App or clear App data
Private keys / seed phrases Never transmitted to or stored on our servers

10. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

10.1 How to Exercise Your Rights

Email [CONTACT EMAIL] with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

10.2 Limitations

We cannot delete, modify, or retrieve data stored on the Hyperliquid blockchain or any other public blockchain. Deletion requests apply only to data we hold on our own systems (server logs, analytics, support correspondence).

10.3 App Deletion

Deleting the HYPEGuide App from your device will remove all locally stored preferences and App data. If your wallet was generated inside the App, deleting the App without first backing up your seed phrase will result in permanent, unrecoverable loss of access to that wallet and any funds it holds.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is intended solely for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately at [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will delete that data promptly.

12. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process, including:

No security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that poses material risk to you, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable law.

13. International Data Transfers

The App is operated from [JURISDICTION — BVI / Singapore]. If you use the App from a jurisdiction with data protection laws (such as the EU/EEA, UK, or similar), your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, which may include contractual protections (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) with service providers.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

Prior versions of this Policy will be made available upon request.

15. Contact Us
